Professional Experience

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my training and experience.

I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. After working for the Government of Alberta Solicitor General for 5 years as a Probation Officer, I spent time raising my children and volunteering at the Alberta Hospital Edmonton Geriatric Psychiatry Program (2007-2010).

I graduated from the University of Seattle in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. During my training I had the opportunity to conduct therapy and assessments at a private practice and in schools. In 2011 and 2012, I taught as a sessional instructor Communication and Psychology of Development courses at the University of Alberta (Campus Saint-Jean) Department of Education. I was a volunteer counsellor with the Pride Centre of Edmonton (2011-2013).

In 2012, I was hired as a Psychologist with Alberta Health Services where I had the opportunity to work with youth and adults in group and individual counselling sessions. In 2014, I decided to expand my work to include a private practice and employment with the Francophone school board.

Currently I am a level 2 trained Internal Family Systems Practioner and am completing my Doctorate in Psychology. I am very pleased to invite you to my practice and hope you will find with me a peaceful place for healing and growth to occur.
